Ignacio Gardiol (Piriápolis, Uruguay; March 24, 1988) is a Uruguayan rally driver currently competing in the Chilean Copec Rally Mobil Championship.
In 2019, Gardiol was crowned champion of the Uruguayan Rally in the RC5 category, driving a Ford Fiesta. Later, in 2022, he once again made headlines by winning the title, this time behind the wheel of a Renault Clio Rally5 from the Alpine Racing team.
Born in Piriápolis, Maldonado, Gardiol grew up surrounded by cars. His father, Ignacio Gardiol Fleury, was a car preparer, which fueled his passion for motorsports from an early age.
