If I'm James Dean, You're Audrey Hepburn is a song by American rock band Sleeping With Sirens. It was the third single released from the band's debut album, With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear. It was released on August 6, 2010. It is one of the bands most popular songs, with over 67 million views on YouTube.
Composition
[edit]The song has been described as post-hardcore, emo, and alternative rock. Frontman Kellin Quinn stated “The song is about love and basically, like the struggle, the joy, the longing. I wrote it when I was away from my girlfriend and I wanted to let her know that it didn’t matter whatever happened between me, the band, and or anything else in life, that things happen for a reason and that things will last if you put your heart into it.”
