Biography:
[edit]Idegu Ojonugwa Shadrach was born on 15th of February, 1995 into the family of Elder Dr. Idegu Alhaji Solomon and Deaconess Idegu Afor Dorathy in Ochadamu, Ofu, Local Government Area of Kogi State. Shadrach's father is a senior English Language lecturer at Federal University Lokoja (FUL) and his mother is a business woman. He is a first child of eight children - four males and four females. Shadrach had his primary to tertiary education in his home state.
Writing:
[edit]Shadrach published his first book Shadrachology in 2017. He has since, published dozens of books which some have emerged bestsellers and some titles have been translated to major languages across the globe. His The Manner is in audio-format. Fellow writers have written about his writing. He is a reviewer for international journals and has edited a number of books. He has been awarded by B P International Publisher for quality contribution to a book and an award of literary excellence by MetroCity Magazine.
Activism:
[edit]Shadrach has been fully involved in theoretical and practical campaigns for the less-privileged and physically- challenged citizens across the globe. To this, few of his books take full contents of political and social activism. Shadrachcracy - a system of government involving all types of citizens in the societies to aid full representation of manners and ideologies, was coined in his 2017 published book "Shadrachology". He has equally published political and social articles on Nigeria newspapers and international journals. He has equally used his social media platforms for activism. He is a good friend to Tunde Eso; he is a State Coordinator of Fix Nigeria Group, founded by Tunde Eso and he has also supported his Youthocracy – a new system of government. He joined Tunde Eso to endorse Senator Dino Melaye in his 2023 gubernatorial election in Kogi State before Dino Melaye eventually failed.
