IN-FO.CO
[edit]IN-FO.CO (Inventory Form & Content) is a Los Angeles-based design and editorial studio focusing on graphic design, spatial design, strategy, and content development.[1]
Founded in Los Angeles by Adam Michaels and Shannon Harvey, the studio is known for its typographic detail and close collaboration with curators, artists, and designers. IN-FO.CO extends Project Projects, the design firm founded by Prem Krishnamurthy and Adam Michaels in 2004.[2] Project Projects won the Cooper Hewitt National Design Award for Communication Design in 2015.[3][4]
Recent projects of note include publications on Barbara Kruger,[5] Made in L.A. 2023,[6] Adrian Piper,[7] and Hans Haacke.[8] Other projects include permanent exhibition graphics for the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures,[9] identity design for Headlands Center for the Arts,[10] and signage for the Hilbert Museum of California Art.[11]
The studio's work has been collected by MoMA Library, Design Museum London, The Vassar College Art Library, and New York University Fales Library, among others.[1]
