Character and production
[edit]Hypnotoad is a large alien toad distinguished by its exceptionally round eyes that fluctuate in color. It resembles the Amazon horned frog.[1] The character has the power to hypnotize anyone at will.[2] None of the main characters in Futurama have had any interaction with Hypnotoad. Within Futurama, Hypnotoad is the host of the TV show Everybody Loves Hypnotoad (a homage to the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond).[1]
Reception and cultural influence
[edit]While a minor character in the show, Hypnotoad remains quite popular with audiences.[3]
