Hvarnes is a village in Larvik municipality. It is located approximately in the middle of the municipality, 30 kilometers north of Larvik city. Hvarnes is a parish that belonged to the former Hedrum parish.

Hvarnes school and Hvarnes church are located here and Hvarnes Sports Club is also located here.

Chef Gunnar Hvarnes and Farmen winner and veterinarian Silje Hvarnes come from here.
