Hotel Transylvania 5 is an upcoming American animated comedy film produced by Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Animation. It will be the fifth feature film in the Hotel Transylvania franchise and the sequel to Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022).
While Transformania was originally announced as the last Hotel Transylvania film, with a Netflix spin-off television series Motel Transylvania being announced in 2024 for a 2025 release date, Genndy Tartakovsky didn't dismiss the possibility of a fifth installment when asked later that year.

[edit]In September 2024, while interviewed by Collider due to his forthcoming attendance to the SCAD AnimationFest to be honored with an Award of Excellence, Genndy Tartakovsky was asked about the likelihood of a fifth Hotel Transylvania film. He said that he thinks Sony Pictures may want more films if there's a demand for it, acknowledging how well Hotel Transylvania: Transformania (2022) performed in its Amazon release, opining that they will have to wait and see.[1]
