Homewreckers is an upcoming American erotic thriller science-fiction film starring Glen Powell.
Premise
[edit]The film was described as an erotic thriller with a science-fiction "twist" tonally similar to the works of directors Adrian Lyne and Alex Garland.[1]

[edit]In December 2024, Legendary Entertainment outbid Lionsgate, New Regency, Sony, and Warner Bros. in a film package auction for the rights to Homewreckers, a project yet-to-be-written by Neil M. Paik, based on his unpublished three-chapter story, with Glen Powell (coming off the successes of 2023's Anyone but You and 2024's Twisters) attached to star and produce.[1] The deal marked the last major acquisition of the year in Hollywood and involved a seven-figure outright purchase price for the story rights and a seven-figure arrangement for Paik to write the script. Bidding had started at mid-six figures and in its final stages was between Legendary and Lionsgate.[2]
