Headlands Preparatory School is a WASC-accredited, independent private school for grades 6–12, located in Sausalito, California, in Marin County. The school offers a flexible, college-preparatory education through individualized, one-on-one and small group instruction. With a focus on personalized learning, Headlands Prep tailors its academic programs to meet the unique needs, goals, and interests of each student.

History

Headlands Preparatory School first opened in 2017 as a campus of Tilden Preparatory School, which was founded in 2006. Since then, the school has continued to provide students with an alternative to traditional education, emphasizing mastery-based learning and personalized instruction. In 2020, the school rebranded to Headlands Preparatory School to better reflect its identity as an individualized, student-centered institution.

Academics
