Is this Henry Levette from Lucky Ghost?

Harry Levette was an actor and journalist. He was a columbist and poet. He was lead sports editor and an entertainment reporter for the California Eagle in Los Angeles.

He wrote about the opening of Club Alabam in Los Angeles.[1] He wrote about Black competitors in the 1932 Olympics.[2] He wrote a poem about Eddie Tolan.[3] He wrote highly of performer Louise Franklin.

He wrote about the qqLafayette Players]] and subsequent changing tastes in Hollywood and how darker shades of Black performers became desieable.[4]

Various papers ran his articles including Rhe Atlanta Daily World.[5]
