Hangman's Dog

Hangman's Dog, referred to as the 'British Indie Band'[2], are a band who write, record, mix and master all of their own songs, create the artwork for their albums and publish their music independent of a big music label.[3] They have released four albums and one EP[4] so far.

Their debut album Incarnation was released in the Summer of 2020.[5] It featured the singles Hazy Dream and Modern Love. According to their official YouTube site, this album is being re-recorded and will be re-released, possibly as Re-Incarnation[6]. The next release was a 4-song EP: Pavonine[7].
Their next two albums were Brimstone, released in 2021 and Grimm, released in 2023. Brimstone included the singles I, Butterfly and Is There Hope and the fairytale-themed[8] Grimm included the four singles Wolf, No Fairytale, Snow Queen and When I Return.[9] The songs from this album are currently the most-viewed on their YouTube channel[10]
Their latest album, Chiaroscuro, was released in June 2024[4] and features the singles Somewhere New and Better Off.
