Greg Deda (Artist)
Greg Deda is a Canadian artist. He is known for his vast collections of paintings primarily abstract, semi- abstract and magical realist works. In 1996 Greg Deda studied at the Scuola Dei Beni Culturali (Now the University of Salento) in Italy. He was deeply inspired by frescos painted by the great maestros of the early to late renaissance period (Michelangelo, Botticelli and Mantegna). He later explored the art of the post Berlin Wall Era attending Kunst Schule in Germany where he met emerging and established artists such as Gerhard Ritcher, Jörg Immendorff and many more.
Greg Deda has been featured in variety of solo and participating exhibitions internationally such as in Torino in 1995, the Kunstmesse Düsseldorf in 1998, Munich in 2001, New York 2009, 2010, Toronto in 2004, 2008, 2011, 2014, 2016 and London in 2024.
