Greater Than is the fifth major label album released by Tye Tribbett on Motown Gospel in 2006.
Background
[edit]After releasing Fresh in 2010, Tye Tribbett recorded new material two years later at two live recordings in two cities, each on the opposite coast in the United States. Unlike the urban-contemporary focused, Fresh, Tribbett had returned the choir-centric elements from previous albums with his past ensemble Greater Anointing (G.A.), but with new background singers and modernized production. Production of the record, had prompt a signing onto Motown Gospel, a subsidary of Motown and Capitol.
