Gerry Goffin (1939–2014) and Carole King (born 1942) were an American songwriting duo active from 1961 to 1984. Some of their most well known songs include the Shirelles' "Will You Love Me Tomorrow", the Chiffons' "One Fine Day", and the Animals' "Don't Bring Me Down".[1]
