Gianfranco Ferré (1944–2007)[2], an acclaimed Italian fashion designer, was celebrated for his architectural approach to fashion design. Known as the "architect of fashion," Ferré’s work combined structure and elegance.

Key milestones in his career include: Launching his women’s ready-to-wear line in 1978 and a men’s line in 1982. Designing iconic pieces, including his signature white shirts. Serving as the artistic director of Christian Dior from 1989 to 1996[3], where he brought an Italian perspective to the French fashion house.
