Frank Marcellus Stales (December 11, 1890 – November 11, 1976) was an educator and veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was born in Americus, Georgia to Alfred Samuel Staley and Emma née Jordan Staley. He graduated from Morehouse College in Atoanta and Cornell University.[1]

In 1925 he married Sarah Edith.

He was the Dean Emeritus of the School of Agriculture at the South Carolina State College until he retired in 1961.[2]


He died November 11, 1976 aged 86 in hospital at Orangeburg, South Carolina.[2]
