Early Life and Education

Flo Akinbiyi was born in Bad Tölz, Bavaria, Germany, to a German-Nigerian family. Growing up in a small Bavarian town, he faced challenges as a person of mixed heritage but used these experiences to build resilience and a unique perspective.

From an early age, Flo participated in choir and continued singing throughout his entire school career, nurturing his confidence and passion for public performance.

In 2005, Flo’s presenting journey began when he hosted a surf competition at Alpamare, a local waterpark in Bad Tölz. Over the following years, he expanded his experience by hosting several fun sports events across Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

Flo studied Communication Management and Event and Sponsoring Management while running his own one-man event agency, combining his academic pursuits with hands-on experience in event organization

Career

In 2010, Flo transitioned to a corporate career that took him to Dubai, where he organized experiential marketing activities across various sectors. This role allowed him to refine his expertise in managing large-scale events and engaging diverse audiences.

In 2015, Flo transitioned to a professional role as an event host and communication coach, with a particular focus on public speaking and presentation skills.

Over the years, Flo has collaborated with leading global brands such as BMW, the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), Huawei, Toyota, Mercedes, TikTok, UPS, DP World, and many others.
