The flag of Aichi Prefecture (Japanese: 愛知県旗, Hepburn: Aichi-ken ki) is a white field charged in the center with the prefectural emblem, which consists ofa symbolized Hiragana of Aichi (あいち). The emblem was selected from about 1,600 proposals and adopted on August 15, 1950. The flag has not been defined by law, although the flag is de-facto official.
