Return with "Song of the Dead" (2024)

[edit]

After a seven-year hiatus, Feared made a powerful comeback with their new single "Song of the Dead" in 2024. The track marks the band's first release since their 2017 album "Svart". Ola Englund, who had taken time away from his popular YouTube channel, expressed that the band's return was a long time coming.

“We’re finally after a lot of years ready to continue the journey of the band Feared, and we’re going back to basics in the style of how Mario and I wrote songs in the beginning. I don’t know why it took this long for us to get something out, but maybe we were waiting for the right song. Me and Mario have already worked out at least 6 more songs so expect more in the future. As for now, we just wanted to release something to keep it alive. 7 years is too long of a wait…”

Produced by Jocke Skog, "Song of the Dead" is an intense, in-your-face death metal track that showcases Englund's powerful guitar tones and Ramos' robust vocals. This release signals the band's renewed commitment to creating music and hints at more new material in the near future.[4][5]
