Chef Fatmata Binta is a Sierra Leonean Nomadic Chef and a United Nations World Tourism Organization(UNWTO) ambassador born on 24th July,1984 in Freetown,Sierra Leone.[1][2] She is the founder of Fulani Kitchen Foundation and the executive chef of Dine on a Mat which aims at promoting Fulani dishes.[3]

Personal Life

Binta is a native of Freetown, Sierra Leone born to Alpha Amadu Bah, a businessman and Fatimatu Bah an entrepreneur who owned a batik-making working.

Binta is a mother of two daughters. Born and raised in a Fulani community, she drew inspiration from her cultural heritage to become a global culinary figure. She has collaborated with internationally acclaimed chefs, further solidifying her reputation in the culinary world.[4]
