Fabricio Heider (born 28 Junio 1974) is an Argentine film director, film producer, screenwriter and actor, best known as the director/producer of the short film Soldaten.[1][2][3][4][5]
Biography
[edit]Born in Ciudad de la Plata.
After design an urban combat simulator for the US Department of Defense, this autodidact of new technologies saw the possibility of capturing their knowledge in a venture. Thus, he co-founder Eventology Global, a company dedicated to the development of interactive content and technology for entertainment linked to marketing actions and brand products communication campaigns.[6]
After developing systems related to cinematography, he develops in film production and direction.
His most awarded film was Soldaten in 2015. A short film about WWII entirely filmed in a small Argentinian town Moquehuá. The film was selected at the Cannes Festival 2016 Court Métrage Short film Corner.[1]
Screenwriting
[edit]Although he usually writes his own films by himself, he has had co-writers as Gustavo Esteban Romero ( Professor of Relativistic Astrophysics), with whom he wrote Soldaten and INSANE. They are currently writing the short film HMS, that is based on mathematical calculations about real time travel.[7]
Being born in Ciudad de la Plata, at the moment is in the preproduction of his first feature film UNIDOS, that narrates the tragic events happened in his native city the 2 of April of 2013.[8]
