F’real is a brand of milkshakes and smoothies. They are set up as machine kiosks where customers place a cup of batter of the flavor of their choice into a metal cup which it raises the shake to mix it.

History

[edit]

In 2003, Jim opened as F’real Foods LLC and they used blenders for their machines in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They moved their headquarters are in Emeryville, California. The concern was a faster time to make the shakes.[1]

In 2023, as celebration for their 20th anniversary, they launched a “birthday cake batter” flavor and began using B7 blenders in their machines.[2] Later, stores began doing $0.99 shakes for a limited time.[3] In a press release, the company wishes to aspire to Generation Z audiences and there are 24,000 worldwide.[4][5] After launching flavors such as Bubblegum in the United Kingdom,[6] they later adopted the “Discover Your f’real” slogan and campaign since they were bought by Rich Products in Buffalo, New York.[7]

In 2024, Rich Products began expanded it's brand to include pizza and dough, with emphasis on gluten free options, and a cinnamon flavor for National Churro Day.[8]
