Richert Evan Tan (born February 21, 1999) is a Filipino-Chinese social media personality, actor, singer and engineer.
Tan gained recognition for his well-known comedic content and mini-skits based on korean drama on the internet platform TikTok. In 2024, he released his first debut single Prettiest Girl. Aside from his social media life, he also guested in GMA Network's Eat Bulaga and Family Feud Philippines and GMA Pictures' The Cheating Game.
Early life and education
[edit]Richert Evan Tan was born on February 21, 1999, in Quezon City. He is the eldest son of a Chinese family. He spent his childhood residing in Baguio City.
Tan finished his mechanical engineering college degree in Saint Louis University in 2020.
Career
[edit]Tan started his online career in 2020 by creating comedy skits based on korean drama, question and answers, reaction videos, and, everyday life videos during the onset of the COVID-19 Pandemic — in which that made him popular. Eventually, he gained wide recognition and became one of the most followed content creators in the Philippines.
Personal life
[edit]According to his question and answer video released on YouTube, Tan is a protestant.
