Eric Adams (born July 1, 1978) is a classicist working as a Latin teacher at Eastside High School in Covington, Georgia.[1] He is a member of the American Classical League and the current Communications Chair for the Georgia Junior Classical League as well as former Chair of the Georgia Junior Classical League.[2][3] He also worked on the committee to develop the Latin Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators and on the county interview panel for the Georgia Governor's Honors Program.[3]

Extracurricular Achievements

In addition to his many academic and educational achievements, including winning his school system's Teacher of the Year award in 2008, he has also had many achievements as a coach of his school's Academic Team.[3][4] He has been coaching his schools Academic Team since 2009 and in that time they have won 21 tournaments, including 6 state championships.[4] His team has also competed in the High School National Championship Tournament numerous times and made the playoffs, therefore placing in the top hundred teams in the nation, three times.[4]
