Emily Lerer is a director, writer,[1] and producer known for her work on films and television series including Shameless.[2]
She was nominated for a Directors Guild of Canada Award[3] in 2023 for T-Minus,[4] which also won the audience award at Out on Film for Best Narrative Short[5][6] and runner-up for the Newfest Audience Award[7]
Lerer served on the 28th Fantasia International Film Festival Short Film Competition jury.[8][9][10]
Career
[edit]In 2022, she was a Second Rounder for the Austin Film Festival.[11]
In 2024, she directed her debut feature film, Omi, featuring Bunny Levine, Dree Hemmingway, and Adam Lebowitz-Lockard.[12]
