From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Eliza Filby is a British historian, author, and public speaker specialising in generational change, politics, and the future of work. Her research focuses on how generational shifts from Baby Boomers to Generation Z affect societal trends, politics, and the workplace. Filby is the author of several works, including God and Mrs. Thatcher: The Battle for Britain's Soul (2015), which explores the intersection of religion and politics in the life and career Margaret Thatcher, and Inheritocracy (2020), a study that examines the intergenerational transfer of wealth and its societal implications.

She holds a PhD in history from Warwick University, where her doctoral thesis examined the relationship between religion and politics in modern Britain. Filby has lectured at institutions such as King's College London and contributes to media outlets such as The Times, The Telegraph, and The Guardian. In addition to her academic work, she is a sought-after speaker, delivering talks on leadership, generational behaviour, and future trends to businesses, governments, and non-profits around the world.

Her work delves into the intergenerational dynamics of workforces, consumer behavior, and political engagement, making her a thought leader in understanding how different age cohorts interact with technology, policy, and market forces.
