Element 119 is a trance/electronica band from alternative rock artist, Joe Vitale Jr, known for his work as a solo artist & in the alternative rock bands Ravenwood & Black Ice White Noise. Sometimes abbreviated to E/119.

History

Founded in North Canton, Ohio in 2004, Element 119 started in the basement of alternative rock artist Joe VItale Jr's home. Their first single & music video titled Men of Vision (PU94 Remix) debuted at the 2007 NAMM Show in Los Angeles, California at the Sony Creative Software booth.

In 2008, Element 119, once again would debut a new song & state-of-the-art music video at the Winter NAMM show in Los Angeles California.

Influences

The music of Element 119 was heavily influenced by acts like BT, Moby, Eiffel 65 & other trance groups. Its sound is a derivative of Trance & electronica. E/119 is presently back in the studio working on a follow-up album.

This was the debut music video from the group which uses a variety of special effects & spatial time warping to achieve practical camera effects as well as digital manipulation in post.[3]

E/119's videos, "Men of Vision (PU94 Remix)" & "The System" were debuted at the 2007 & 2008 NAMM Show in Los Angels.[4]

The System

In 2011, the updated version of "The System" featured Kathy Vogel as the computerized girl at the Canton International Film Festival.[5]

Free Radicals

Free Radicals was the 4th video to be released by E/119. This video is a constant compilation of strange videos collected by leader, Vitale, over many years tying the song together as it unfolds. There is a lot of image manipulation & special effects to mix things up.[6]

Reactor 119

In 2023, Element 119 released their next music video for their song "Reactor 119". This was their fifth, commercially released music video.

Presently the band is in the studio working on their next release
