Electricity Maps, formerly Tomorrow, was founded by Olivier Corradi in 2016 and incorporated as TMROW IVS in 2017 with as change to a ApS corporate structure in 2019; in 2022 Tomorrow once again changed it's legal name and company was henceforth named Electricity Maps.[2][3]

The company is most known for it's app that shows the greenhouse gas emissions of power grids the world over in the form of carbon dioxide equivalents.[4] The app provides carbon emissions and generation data for over 230 regions around the world including the U.S., Europe, Australia, and large parts of South America and Asia.[4] The Electricity Maps API also have, in addition to the data available in the app, electricity forecasts that is used by clients such as Google to load shift computational loads in their data centers.[2][4]
