Edwin Marmet (1 Feb 1876 in Cincinnati, Ohio - 4 Mar 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio) was The Co-founder of the Marmet & Co. Coal. He Is the niece of Otto Marmet, and brother of Edwin Marmet. He was a Captain on the Mississippi and Kanawha River in the early 1900's. Marmet, West Virginia was named after the Marmet Company.
