Edward Sheehan (October 2, 1928 – January 17, 2021) was an American Jehovah's Witness, minister, and elder.[1]

Early Years

He was born in San Francisco, California to Arthur E. Sheehan and Gladys Larson, whom divorced when he was seven years old.[2]. While studying at Galileo High School, he became an all-star athlete with the Galileo Lions. He converted to Christianity at the age of 24.[3][4]

Career

While acting at the Presiding Overseer of various congregations, he directed stage productions and gave speeches in support of the Jehovah's Witnesses while simultaneously managing A.E Sheehan Co., a manufacturing company founded by his father.[5] He was frequently on KPIX-TV and KCBS AM.[6][7] After his death he was inducted into the San Francisco County Prep Hall of Fame for his achievements in sports.[citation needed]
