Edison Amberol Records was a record label made by Edison Records . These cylinders were made of a very fragile brittle black wax.[1] These cylinders recorded about 4 minutes and were the predecessor to the blue amberol records. [1] First released in 1908, they were short-lived and only lasted until 1912. [1] in progress
