Dua Lipa Live from the Royal Albert Hall is the debut live album by English and Albanian singer Dua Lipa. The album was released on 6 December 2024 through Warner Records. The concert was recorded on 17 October 2024, from Lipa's television special An Evening with Dua Lipa (2024), at the Royal Albert Hall located in London, England.
Development
[edit]Dua Lipa uploaded a promotional poster on Instagram where she would perform a one-off show located at the Royal Albert Hall in her hometown, London, England.[1] The concert took place on 17 October 2024, and Lipa was accompanied on stage a fifty–three piece orchestra, her seven-piece band, and fourteen choristers.[2]
Television networks CBS Entertainment and ITV confirmed in a press release on 23 October that the artist would star in a television special titled An Evening with Dua Lipa (2024).[3][4] Lipa later announced on 19 November she would release her debut live album containing recordings from her concert special.[5]
Release
[edit]Dua Lipa Live from the Royal Albert Hall was later released on 6 December 2024 through Warner Records.[6] The tracklist consisted of various songs entirely taken from Lipa's third studio album Radical Optimism (2024), four songs from Future Nostalgia (2020), and one song from her eponymous debut studio album (2017).[7] She also covered the songs "Dance the Night" (2023), "Sunshine" (2021) by English singer Cleo Sol, and had a sole guest appearance with singer Elton John to perform "Cold Heart" (2021).[8]
