Drughub or Drughub Market is a darknet market launched in August 2023,[1][2] operating on the Tor network and accessible only through specific secure web browsers. It only conducts transactions in Monero, a cryptocurrency designed to be private. It is the successor to White House Market, one of only three markets to reform and return.
History
[edit]Drughub came online in August 2023 and has been operational for over a year. Drughub is notable for executing the first-ever "Market Bailout Merger,"[3] [4]a rare event in the darknet market eco-system, where another market was absorbed to prevent a total shutdown. The platform has gained recognition for its mandatory use of PGP encryption to create an account, as opposed to the traditional method of using a username and password. This approach distinguishes it from its counterparts.
