DraftSight is paid professional 2D CAD software for engineers, architects, designers, drafters, students, and educators. Dassault Systèmes developed it to allow users to create, edit, and view DWG and DXF files.
Technical Characteristics
[edit]DraftSight runs on Windows® Operating Systems and Mac OS. It allows users to access DWG / DXF files regardless of the CAD software used to create them. Due to the variety of data it can manage, the DWG file format is widely used by architects, designers, and engineers worldwide.[1]
DraftSight is available as an annual subscription. There is also a 30-day free trial version.
