Smarty Pants Neznalović Smarty Pants Neznalović, also colloquially referred to as Dušan, is a term used in Serbia to describe a type of person who overestimates their intelligence and business acumen while consistently failing to achieve significant success. The term is often used satirically to refer to individuals who are overly confident and self-important.

Characteristics A "Smarty Pants Neznalović" typically lacks formal education and practical knowledge but is nonetheless loud and opinionated about various subjects. Often found in local coffee shops, such individuals are known for conducting what they believe to be important meetings, characterized by wearing too-tight suits and a perpetual smirk. They offer unsolicited advice to anyone within earshot, despite their own repeated business failures.

Overweight and out of shape, a "Smarty Pants Neznalović" spends much of their time criticizing others for their "poor business decisions." The ironic nickname, "Smarty Pants," underscores the gap between their self-perception and reality.

Cultural Impact The term "Smarty Pants Neznalović" has become part of local vernacular, often used in humorous anecdotes and cautionary tales about overconfidence and the Dunning-Kruger effect12.
