Dr. Ashutosh Sharma is a botanist or plant scientist who has contributed to multiple botanical research-works^[1],^[2] based on several plants and their therapeutic application towards human diseases.

Dr. Ashutosh Sharma has authored research papers with journals on Medicinal Plant metabolomics, Medicinal Plant Genomics, Medicinal Plant Nanotechnology and Bioremediation and serves as an editorial board member^[3]^[4] with International Journal of Pure and Applied Bioscience and Open Science Journal.

Currently, Dr. Ashutosh Sharma serves as the Director of Regional Department of Bio-engineering at the Tecnologico de Monterrey^[5], also known as the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), in Mexico.
