Arun Chockalingam, better known as Dr. Arun, is an Adjunct Professor in the Epidemiology Division, Centre for Global Health, who is originally from India, and currently lives in Canada. He has a diverse and comprehensive background that combines global health research, policy development, training and administration. In addition to his extensive work in these areas, he has demonstrated International leadership within the global health community

Arun Chockalingam was born and raised in Karaikudi, India. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the University of Madras, India (1970),
