Specimens of Dorylaea orini are deposited under this name in Harvard's Museum of Comparative Zoology type database 35085. Dr. Luis M. Roth, a prolific blattodea taxonomist of Harvard University in 2002 but the descriptive article was never published. It has been maintained in captivity since 1997 and was originally collected in Malaysia.[1] Dr. Louis M. Roth (deceased 9 June 2003) received the Thomas Say Award in 1995, which recognized him for outstanding achievement in insect systematics.(2) He described more than 400 species of cockroaches after retiring and going to work at Harvard University. This was the last one though only the Harvard type database holds it. [2]
