Don Jagwarr (born Duane Earle) is a Trinidadian rapper known for his distinctive fusion of hardcore rap, raggamuffin, and West Coast G-funk, a style he terms "ragga-funk."
Early Life and Career
[edit]Don Jagwarr was born Duane Earle in Trinidad and Tobago. He initially appeared on the music scene as "Earle The Poet," releasing the album High Noon in 1990 on EMI Records.[1]
Breakthrough and Music Career
[edit]Jagwarr gained notable recognition with an uncredited appearance on Ice Cube's track "Wicked" in 1992, which led to his signing with Street Knowledge/Priority Records.[2] His debut album, Faded, was released in 1994 but did not chart. Despite this, Jagwarr's work is distinguished by its intense lyrical content and rhythmic diversity, reflecting his Caribbean roots and West Coast influences.
In addition to his solo work, Jagwarr contributed to Eazy-E's music by writing tracks such as "It's On" and "Switchez".[3]
Entrepreneurial Ventures

He gained prominence with his Hot Dog Cart in Los Angeles, which became legendary for its quality and his reputation as a battle MC.
