Diana Paez Gutierrez (born in Bogota, Colombia) is nuclear medicine physicist with the co-authorship of more than 140 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals[1][2], and more than 60 book chapters with 45 of them centered around nuclear cardiology, diagnostic imaging, nuclear oncology, and radiology[1][2][3][4].

Education

Diana Paez has obtained her first academic degree in Medicine and Surgery from El Bosque University's Faculty of Medicine. Later on in 1994, she earned her second degree in Nuclear Medicine from Javeriana University's National Cancer Institute[2][3][4] in Bogota, Colombia. Attended fellowship trainings in nuclear cardiology at the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital and in Nuclear Oncology (PET) at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, USA in 1997. Additionally, Diana Paez posses a Master's degree in Communication and Education from the Autonoma University in Barcelona, Spain[3][4].

Dr. Diana Paez Gutierrez is an acting lecturer, participant on scientific panels and has chair in numerous symposia and scientific meetings as a scientific secretary[1][2][3][4]. She published more than 140 scientific articles and publications, and 60 book chapters in scientific journals[2] with over 3,800 citations[1][2], with the 32 h-index, and 80 i10-index[2][1][5][6][7][8][9][10][11].
