Deer leap is an American emo band from New Hampshire.
History
[edit]Deer Leap was formed by Dustin Sciacca, Chet Morrison, and Keith Galvin in 2009. The following year, Deer Leap released their debut, Demo 2010. The band collaborated with The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die to release Are Here to Help You on Topshelf Records in 2010.[1] Their first full length album, Here. Home., was released in 2012 as a follow up effort.[2] Matt Hunter joined Deer Leap in 2014 and the band released their second full length, Impermanence, in 2016.[3] The EP Wind & Words was released in 2017 and Bedroom Sessions Vol.1 acoustic EP was released in 2018.[4] Deer Leap’s latest single, Left Behind, was released in 2023. In January 2024, Evan Weiss of Into It. Over It. included Deer Leap’s song “Coffee and Keys” on Into It. Over It.’s Definitive Guide to 4th Wave Emo (2007-2015) Spotify playlist.[5] Deer Leap began recording their third full length album in May 2024 at Silver Bullet Studios.
