Draft:Daniele Cerretti
Submission declined on 31 October 2024 by Cabrils (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Well done on creating the draft, and it may potentially meet the relevant requirements (including WP:GNG, WP:ANYBIO, WP:MUSICBIO) but presently it is not clear that it does. As you may know, Wikipedia's basic requirement for entry is that the subject is notable. Essentially subjects are presumed notable if they have received significant coverage in multiple published secondary sources that are reliable, intellectually independent of each other, and independent of the subject. To properly create such a draft page, please see the articles ‘Your First Article’, ‘Referencing for Beginners’ and ‘Easier Referencing for Beginners’. Please note that many of the references are not from sources that are considered reliable for establishing notability and should be removed (including blogs, company websites, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Spotify etc). Also, if you have any connection to the subject, including being the subject (see WP:AUTOBIO) or being paid, you have a conflict of interest that you must declare on your Talk page (to see instructions on how to do this please click the link). Please familiarise yourself with these pages before amending the draft. If you feel you can meet these requirements, then please make the necessary amendments before resubmitting the page. It would help our volunteer reviewers by identifying, on the draft's talk page, the WP:THREE best sources that establish notability of the subject. It would also be helpful if you could please identify with specificity, exactly which criteria you believe the page meets (eg "I think the page now meets WP:MUSICBIO criteria #3, because XXXXX"). Once you have implemented these suggestions, you may also wish to leave a note for me on my talk page and I would be happy to reassess. Cabrils (talk) 23:57, 31 October 2024 (UTC)

Biography
[edit]Daniele is an Italian music producer and DJ whose passion for music originated in 2007 when he began playing Italian classics on the guitar from artists such as Fabrizio De André, Lucio Battisti, Pino Daniele and Zucchero. He then discovered multiple artists whom helped him to explore his musical taste such as the Gipsy Kings, Carlos Santana. In 2009, he was introduced to house music through a DJ mix by the fictional character Paul Martin for the Vladivostok FM radio station, featured in the downloadable content of GTA IV (The Ballad of Gay Tony).
After graduating in high school as a mechanical expert and a moment of stop from music, he decided to choose the political science studies at the Sapienza and in 2020 he started to produce music again taking inspiration from house music legends such as Ron Carroll, A-Trak, Todd Terry, and Kevin Saunderson. Not completing his studies, Daniele decided in 2022 to dedicated himself to studying various sub-genres of house music. He ultimately focused on soulful, disco, funk, latin, and classic house genres. Throughout his journey, he has collaborated with established artists including Lizzie Curious, Per QX, The Cube Guys, Joe Ventura, and Filip Grönlund.
Music
[edit]Daniele has released tracks on several notable record labels, including Moiss Music, CUBE Recordings, Walk of Shame, Ulybug Music, Chuggy Traxx, Big Speaker Music, Wh0 Worx, Quantize Recordings and Nervous Records. His work has received support from prominent figures in the music industry, such as Black Legend, Mark Knight, Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso, Louie Vega, Bob Sinclar.[1] and Jamie Jones among others.
Influences
[edit]Daniele's inspirations in music come from a diverse range of artists and producers. Gipsy Kings and Carlos Santana were the first artist he listened to, together with Italian artists such as Fabrizio De André, Lucio Battisti, Pino Daniele and Zucchero. He then decided to move to electronic music while keeping playin instruments taking inspirations from artists such as Brian Tappert and Michael Gray, as they have greatly influenced his understanding of house music, with their unique styles and production techniques. Daniele also draw inspiration from the iconic Swedish House Mafia, Laidback Luke and Chocolate Puma's innovative sound back in 2012, a sound that motivated him in 2015 to make his first bootleg and exploring his musical ideas.
Releases
[edit]After some self-released songs, his musical debut started on The Cube Guys label CUBE Recordings, Per QX's Walk of Shame and later Joe Ventura's label Big Speaker Music, a label created in 2020 with artists such as Robert Owens, That Kid Chris, Sulene Fleming, Victor Simonelli, Todd Terry and more[2].
His most notable work is its release with the Swedish DJ and producer Per QX "It's A Latin Thing", signed on the Grammy award nominated artists label Wh0, Wh0 Worx. With this release has been noticed in 2023 by artists such as Steve Angello[3], Sebastian Ingrosso[4], Roger Sanchez[5][6][7] and Bob Sinclar, while in the summer of 2023 his track "Bongos" released via Nervous Records sub-label Made in Miami was played at Defected festivals by Melé[8][9] and Seamus Haji[10] and by Andrea Oliva at Ushuaia Ibiza[11]. He also gained the support from Mark Knight[12][13], Grant Nelson[14] and Mark Picchiotti[15] with his releases on Chuggy Traxx called "Lost In Your Love" and "All I Think". In December 2023, he released a single on Mr. V's SOLE Channel Music gaining the official support on Defected Radio[16] and Traxsource.
In 2024 his release on Made in Miami "El Ritmo De La Samba" has been supported by Louie Vega[17] and Seamus Haji[18], while his own self released remix by Stardate was supported by Todd Terry[19]. He released his own EP on Nervous Records which was featured in official Apple Music playlists. In the same period, an EP on DJ Spen label Quantize Recordings was released with one of his songs remixed by him and micFreak[20]
In October he debuts at the Amsterdam Dance Event for the SUNANA's event in collaboration with The Vibe Arrived and Rain Kiss together with DJ Chuckie, Juany Bravo, Simon Fava and many more artists.[21][22][23]
