Contensis is a web content management system (CMS) created by Zengenti.^[1] Its owners license the CMS under a software as a service (SaaS) model.^[2]

The API-first and cloud hosted CMS^[3] supports any design created in the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML). The CMS creates mobile websites, apps, intranets, web portals and "channel shift" systems. It is used by higher education, local authorities, housing associations, NHS trusts and police forces in the United Kingdom.^[4]

The CMS is used by high traffic sites including Lse.ac.uk, Kcl.ac.uk and Ordnancesurvey.co.uk.^[5] It can deliver content on any device via multiple channels.^[6] There have been 15 versions of Contensis.^[7]
