The Consulate General of the United States in Lagos represents the interests of the government of the United States in Lagos, the most populous city of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It reports to the United States Embassy in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria.

The current consul general is Will Stevens, serving since July 29, 2022.[1]

History

As an embassy

From 1960 until 2000, the current consulate building housed the Embassy of the United States in Nigeria until the Embassy was moved to a new chancery in Abuja.
