[edit]Connect Ventures is a venture capital firm based in the UK. It was established in 2012 by Sitar Teli, Pietro Bezza, and Bill Earner..[1]
Fund Size
[edit]In 2023, Connect Ventures reached the $80 million mark for its fourth fund with the final closing anticipated later that year. Participants in this fund included existing investors British Patient Capital, De Agostini, Big Society Capital, Top Tier, and Molten Ventures. New investors to this fund include Aldea, Jason Green, Sella Venture Partners FoF, and Francesco Simoneschi, the founder and CEO of TrueLayer, a previous Connect Ventures investment.[2]
Investments
[edit]Since 2011, Connect Ventures has backed 33 high-growth businesses in London, through at least 52 equity fundraisings,[3] including prominent companies such as Typeform, a data collection tool and Citymapper, an urban transit app.[1]
Other companies in their portfolio include fintech startup Soldo[4], legaltech company Genie AI[5], and retail analytics company Purple Dot[6]
