Coco & Nut is an upcoming American musical romance film starring Pranutan Bahl and Rahsaan Noor. It is directed by Noor, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Raghav Murali and Priyamvada Singh, inspired by a text message Noor received from his college sweetheart five years after she broke his heart.[1][2]
Premise[edit]
Billed as a spirit-lifting romance, the film will follow an ambitious young woman, who feels worthless while fighting to save her marriage before she gets a pick me up from her know-it-all college sweetheart.

It was announced in January 2024 that Pranutan Bahl and Rahsaan Noor would star in the film to be directed by Noor.[3][4]
Filming[edit]
Filming is set to take place entirely in Chicago from June to July 2024, with a diverse cast and crew drawn from both the United States and India.[5][6]
