Submission declined on 12 February 2024 by TheBritinator (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: While WP:NACADEMIC #6 states that an academic is notable if they have held
"a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution"
, it is unclear whether the Southern University College meets the definition of "major" for this purpose. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 17:36, 12 February 2024 (UTC)
Chuah Joon Huang is the President and CEO of Southern University College.[1]. He graduated from the National University of Singapore and University of Cambridge[2]
