Christina Lasasimma

Christina Lasasimma (born on June 26, 1993, in Vientiane, Laos) is a prominent Laotian actress, model, and beauty queen. She won the title of Miss Laos in 2012, representing the capital city, Vientiane. Later, she represented Laos in two major international pageants: Miss Universe 2020 and Miss Supranational 2024. Despite her outstanding participation, she did not advance beyond the first round in either event.

Christina Lasasimma was born in Vientiane, Laos, and has mixed ancestry. Her mother, Natalia Lasasimma, hails from Lelchytsy, a region in Gomel, Belarus, while her father is Laotian.

Christina pursued a master's degree in Software Engineering at Dhurakij Pundit University in Thailand.[1] During her student years, she focused on Information Technology, Communication, and Computer Science, balancing her education with a career in the entertainment industry as a model and international influencer.

She is the CEO of her own brand of healthy beverages, MOii Collagen, with plans to expand to include a skincare product line.

In 2018, On-anong Homsombath represented Laos, winning the national costume award. Meanwhile, Vichitta Phonevilay competed in 2019[2]. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, no successor was crowned in Laos, so Vichitta Phonevilay remained the reigning Miss, and Christina was designated as the next representative for the international pageant.

Miss Universe

Christina became the fourth representative from Laos in Miss Universe, following in the footsteps of Souphaphone Somvichith, who made history as the country's first contestant in the prestigious competition.
