Christianity is the predominant religion in Gibraltar, with Roman Catholicism being the largest denomination. According to the 2012 census data, approximately 72.1% of the population identified as Roman Catholic.[1] The Church of England follows as the second major Christian denomination, representing about 7.7% of the population, while other Christian groups account for roughly 3.8% of the residents.
