Choudhary Aurangzeb (born June 24, 1963) is an Indian politician and social worker, known for his contributions to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and his work within the Muslim community in Haryana. He has served as the Ex-Chairman of the Haryana State Haj Committee and is currently an Executive Member of the BJP Working Committee in Haryana.
Early Life and Education
[edit]Choudhary Aurangzeb was born on June 24, 1963, in the village of Bisru, Tehsil Punhana, District Nuh, Haryana. He completed his matriculation and pursued a career in agriculture and social work.
Political Career
[edit]Aurangzeb joined the Bharatiya Janata Party on September 13, 1994, during a public meeting led by the then Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in Punhana, Haryana. Since then, he has held several key positions in the party, representing the interests of the Muslim community and working to bridge the gap between communities in the region.
- 1996: Appointed as National Executive Member of the BJP Minority Morcha.
- 1998-2002: Served as the President of BJP Minority Morcha for Haryana.
